- Rego/Greenslip/Plate Costs - When financing a car it is best to pay for the registration, greenslip and plates upfront as this is a recurring cost. Otherwise you will be paying for your first years rego for the term of your loan.
- Chattel Mortgages - If your business uses the Cash accounting method, a Chattel Mortgage will allow you to claim the GST portion of your loan upfront. You can then choose to repay this money back into your loan, thus reducing your payments.

HOME LOAN TIPS
- First Home Buyers Grant - The First Home Buyers Grant has been extended to $21,000 for new houses or $14,000 for existing properties until the 30th September 2009. From the 1st October 2009 to the 31st December 2009 it will be reduced to $14,000 for new or newly construicted homes and $10,500 for established houses. Stamp duty exemptions are also available for first home buyers.
- Stamp Duty - The NSW Government is currently providing 50% off stamp duty for eligible buyers of newly built homes purchased for up to $600,000 only until the 31st December 2009.
